Today's topic is on.. Are beggars really beggars ??? or WHAT ?
Its a funny question.. let me tell you what.. Friday at Macdonalds i saw a old lady with bag of tissues and lottery tickets, and i saw her asking a man outside what stuffs would he like to purchase from the old lady.. the man took out $10 and pass to her, without her tissue or tickets.. and asked the old lady to keep.. so she thanked him and walked away to other people.. after a few more people.. she collected another $2, then she was walking towards my table.. i also passed her $2 for 2 packets of tissue.. she looked so poor thing..
well the issue is not on donating to them.. but thinking about it.. an't these people get money too easily ??? let's put in this way.. you are a part time worker.. and they pay you $10 per hour.. but according to what i see the old lady.. she earned $14 just in a few minutes LOL... imagine if she's lucky.. she could had earned near $30 per 30 mins or per hour???
so sometimes i really cannot get into my mind.. i mean.. they can walk.. they can talk.. why beg.. why not get some jobs in some hawker centre at least..
and not too long ago.. i saw some aussie guys.. selling key chains too.. they just put the keychain and a note on your eating table on the public..the note asking you to donate like $5 to get that keychain.. and if you dont want.. just ignore it.. and he'll be back to collect it.. but that aussie man is so young.. the note put that he's deaf or mute or something.. but he has legs and hands.. why not work.. i bet you have met them before too.. i met a few already..
so why ??? are they lazy ?? copy cats ?? REALLY POOR ?? or what ?? who knows.. i am just wondering only.. not to confront them or anything :)
